They demonstrate and ask for punishment against an alleged rapist of two girls

Relatives of two girls aged 8 and 10, who suffered rape by Javier B. P, demonstrated the morning of January 3 outside the municipal palace of Cancun, in which they demanded justice and punishment against the guilty.

With information from the father of the minors, the case was denounced since July 2018, to the Quintana Roo Attorney General of the State, without the alleged aggressor behind the bars.

Six women with placards attended the demonstration; the father of the aggrieved girls, Jorge Luis, requested the support of the authorities to rescue his daughters because they are still under the care of their mother, who presumably continues as married to the alleged rapist.

He added that the rapist is still free and living in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, without the Ministerial Police having proceeded to arrest him, despite having information on his location.
