The first $ 20 million for the Mayan Train are allocated

The government of the State already has the first 20 million pesos for the Mayan Train project to be applied for the feasibility study, confirmed the Agency for Strategic Projects (Agepro).

At the same time, the federal government begins bidding for the project in the Caribbean area, however, the infrastructure works that require an Environmental Impact Statement (MIA) will be formed in the executive project and will begin until the permits are issued.
On December 16, the Mayan Train will begin construction in Palenque, Chiapas, where the president of Mexico is expected to participate.
