A male person, who was allegedly working as a driver of the General Secretary of the Taxi Workers Union “Lázaro Cárdenas del Río”, was murdered today in the city of Playa del Carmen in the Misión del Carmen subdivision.

According to the first reports, the report of the incident occurred around 9:10 am, when the 911 emergency number alerted the municipal authorities that in the abovementioned address, a man had been beaten to death, which was bleeding to death on the asphalt road.

It was revealed that the now deceased, was identified by his relatives as Pedro M. B., 31 years old, originally from Mexico City, who served as a driver for Rubén Aguilar Gómez, general secretary of the Taxi Workers’ Union “Lázaro Cárdenas del Río”.
