Germania declares bankruptcy state

The German airline Germania, based in Berlin, declared bankruptcy and canceled all flights immediately.
The company, which had already reported financial problems in January, reported that it declared bankruptcy on a court in Berlin on Monday afternoon and that all flights were canceled the same Monday night.
Germania, which has 37 airplanes, linked Germany mainly to beach resorts around the Mediterranean Sea and, according to its data, transported four million passengers a year.
