A man was killed this morning in the Chiapaneca colony, which starts the violent deaths count in Cancun in 2019.
The emergency number 911 reported to the Police, at 7:20 a.m., that a man was injured by a bullet.
The subject was found already lifeless on a dirt road in the Chiapaneca neighborhood, about 200 meters from the Cancún-Mérida highway.
Agents of the Municipal Police confirmed the death and notified the situation to experts of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), who took charge of lifting the body and transferring it to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) for the necropsy.
