The survivor of Ted Bundy crimes talks about Zac Efron portraying him

Now that Zac Efron is the actor chosen to play the killer in the movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile alongside Lily Collins, many opinions emerged from people who do not want the character to be romanticized simply because is being played by Zac.

One of Ted Bundy’s survivors, Kathy Kleiner Rubin was attacked by the serial killer in her brotherhood at Florida State University in 1978, this is how she feels about the representation of Zac as the man who tried to kill her:

I do not have a problem with the people who look at it, and as long as they understand that what they are seeing is not a normal person. I think that to show you exactly how it was, it’s not really glorifying it, but it’s showing it, and when you say positive and wonderful things about it … that’s what they saw, that’s what Bundy wanted you to see.
