The Mexican peso remains calm against the US dollar on the day after the announcement by the Federal Reserve raise its interest rate from 2.25% to 2.50%.
Despite the strong criticism of President Donald Trump, who is not happy with interest rates and has charged with fury against the entity.
In bulk, the dollar is sold at 20.0262 pesos, unchanged from the previous close, according to figures from Bloomberg and the Bank of Mexico (Banxico).
At bank windows, the greenback goes down 10 cents when sold at 20.30 pesos, according to the Citibanamex quote. The purchase is located at 19.45 pesos.
It should be remembered that this Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. the initial term of the offer to repurchase NAIM bonds ends.
