An element of the Secretariat of Public Safety of Mexico City was run over by a couple of assailants who fled by motorcycle after committing their crime in Azcapotzalco.
The policeman who risked his life was agent Carlos Moreno Ávalos of the La Raza sector.
In the images, can be seen that the uniformed man, after seeing that the criminals were escaping, it placed himself in the middle of the street without caring to be run over by the individuals who meters forward lose control of the motorcycle and fall from it.
Several people who were near the place ran to help the officer, while others ran to where one of the assailants tries to flee.
Finally, it was revealed that the policeman managed to capture Erick Francisco “N”, 25 years old and Edwin “N” 18; managed to recover 27 thousand pesos in cash that had just robbed a man.
The officer who thwarted the robbery was taken to a hospital where he will undergo a surgical operation.
