The head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced an emergency plan for the capital in the event of an earthquake, which will be in charge of the Secretariat for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection.
The Protocol of Action before seismic emergencies is detailed in a document addressed to the dependencies of the Public Administration of Mexico City.
The objective is to specify the immediate actions of the institutions in the face of the impact of an intense earthquake that produces damages generating a situation of major emergency or disaster.
