Eight Cancun vandals have been arrested for damaging 26 vehicles in Region 247 of the city.
Elements of the Quintana Roo Police in Cancun say they arrested eight vandals, seven men and one woman, who caused damage to 25 private vehicles and one personnel transport bus after several reports were called in to Emergency 911.
Cancun police say they responded the call on Calle Sexta Privada Almendros in Region 247 where they surprised the vandals who were throwing stones at vehicles and homes. Upon noticing police, the subjects attempted to escape, but were insured by law enforcement officers.
Police arrested the eight, who are being held for corresponding authorities for the property damage.
