In one of the most affected localities by the earthquakes of September 19, 2017, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador led the installation of the Inter-Secretariat Commission for Reconstruction that will coordinate the construction of homes and health centers, the rehabilitation of schools and the rescue of buildings considered cultural heritage.
The Secretary of Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu) will be responsible for following up the National Reconstruction Plan that involves the Secretaries of Finance and Public Credit, Public Education, Health, Culture, Public Safety and Citizen Protection.
In the afternoon, Lopez Obrador will lead the public installation and the presentation of the National Reconstruction Program.
