With a restructuring based on better thematic content and with innovations that will make spectacular the Merida Carnival parade, the Permanent Committee aims to bring a million visitors to the Xmatkuil fairground during this year’s carnival celebrations.
The Carnival Standing Committee executive secretary, Oscar Alfonso Cambranes Basulto, said they are in the final details of the preparation of this great popular festival. According to him, they will exceed the number of allegoric cars that will parade in the course because several sponsoring companies are returning. He anticipated that there was a restructuring of the complementary events throughout the Xmatkuil fairgrounds. There will be music to dance, shows for the family and presentation of renowned artists.
