3 injured people after traffic accident in Cancun.

On Avenue 135 near 517 region, 2 people were injured after a traffic accident between a public bus and a heavy duty transport.

According to first reports, the accident occurred around 22:10 hours, 911 emergencies number alerted authorities that at the cited address there were around 3 injured individuals that required an ambulance and the pertinent authorities.

After the emergency phone call transit police elements, 2 ambulances and a fire truck arrived to the location to confirm the accident, then they proceeded to help the wounded; 2 of them required hospital attention, the third one received medical attention at the accident location.

According to nearby neighbors the accident was caused by a private company’s truck driver that lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed, crashing against a public bus resulting in 3 injured people.
